Habitação MJP

INTRODUCTION

A series of architectural visualisations for Habitação MJP, a project by Marta Coutinho Arquitectura & Design in Aveiro, Portugal. The images place the house within its hillside setting and bring together architecture, light, material and domestic life.

Light, material and domestic scale.

Inside, natural light, timber and everyday objects define calm, lived-in spaces. The art direction sought to make the atmosphere of the house as present as the architecture itself.

A house in its landscape.

The house sits between the slope of the land and the presence of eucalyptus trees. Exterior views frame its relationship to the hillside and horizon, providing context for the architecture’s placement and scale.
